Great Plains banks on camelina - by Sara Stroud
Montana-based Great Plains Oil and Exploration says it wants more Northwest farmers to start growing camelina, a next-generation biodiesel feedstock. To sweeten the deal, Great Plains is boosting its grower contract prices and offering seed replacement if crops fail to perform.
