1% for the Planet Network Co-Hosts Webinar on Prop 37 GMO Labeling

WAITSFIELD, Vt., Oct. 22 /CSRwire/ - 1% for the Planet member companies Nature’s Path, New Belgium Brewing, Clif Bar, Patagonia, Mama Chia and Pop Culture are leading the charge in support of the Prop 37 GMO-labeling referendum in California. This ballot initiative will have implications that affect other states and nations regarding label transparency in the market-place and the right of consumers to know what is in their food.
Tomorrow, 1% for the Planet is mobilizing its global network of thousands of non profits and business-members to help spread the word. A webinar to be held Tuesday October 23rd at 11am PST/2pm EST, co-hosted by the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC), will feature 1% for the Planet member companies speaking about the importance of GMO labeling and the campaign to get CA voters to support this referendum.
