Breakfast:
The St. Regis San Francisco will provide a local, organic and sustainable breakfast.  Exact menu to be specified closer to event date.

Networking:
Networking tools will be provided by Pathable - the shortest distance between two people.
  • People go to conferences to network, but meeting the right people is hard.
  • Pathable's easy-to-use, private directory and community enables people to explore and communicate with other attendees.
  • Pathable's color-coded badges create conversations and our mobile web and text message interfaces help attendees connect in person.
About the venue
The Sustainable Industries Economic Forum will be held at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco.

The St. Regis San Francisco takes pride in a number of conservation programs, including:

  • Solid waste is hand-sorted, recycled and composted
  • Cooking oil is converted into biodiesel locally
  • Green cleaning products are currently being rolled out through Starwood's global environmental sustainability program initiative.
  • All toilets, sinks, and showers are low flow
  • All appliances in the St. Regis San Francisco Residences are Energy Star
  • All building boilers are high efficiency rated
  • Automated systems reduce overall energy use by turning off electric and lighting systems when not needed
  • Guest Room Control system: INNCOM, automatically controls lights, HVAC and window shades based on occupancy and whether the room is occupied.
  • A number of retrofit projects are underway or are scheduled to reduce energy use from lighting and other electrical systems.
  • With the exception of our seafood which is flown in from Japan, our food is sourced within a 100 mile radius with fresh herbs being taken from our executive chef's herb garden on property. We also work with organic farmers that utilize renewable farming practices.
  • The St. Regis San Francisco is pursuing Energy Star and USGBC's LEED certification in the near future as we have not been open long enough to qualify and certification will be provided upon request once one is achieved.
