Lakshmi (Meera) Ramanathan, Global Sustainability Manager, Adobe Systems.

Meera will discuss...

• Corporate Carbon Accounting
• Adobe's environmental goals towards conservation of water, reduction electricity & natural usages, and increased diversion of solid waste from landfill.

About Meera:

Meera has over 15 years experience in environmental conservation and sustainability. For the past 4 plus years she has been working with Adobe to produce the public Carbon Disclosure Project reports (CDP score increased by thirteen points over three years!), as well as provide sustainable metrics data for CSR reporting, internal and external outlets and surveys, including Bloomberg, Trucost, Justmeans, etc. and respond for data queries from sales teams for RFPs.

She manages and is a contributing team member of the LEED process and has participated in nine LEED projects, with six being certified Platinum. Her research and implementation of renewable technologies has led her to work with a diverse group both on the state and federal level. Her background as an environmental consultant and engineer makes her an expert in her field. Meera holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
