Summary

Sustainability has the markings of the next business megatrend.  Especially relevant will be the ability to harness and analyze real-time data from and throughout an enterprise.  This skill set will be required for any organization hoping to execute a coherent and action orientated sustainability strategy over the long term that delivers real business value.

The session’s speakers will discuss how the building blocks for this transformation are emerging. Several themes will be addressed to bring these issues into sharper focus, including (1) the vision behind the fundamental changes being driven by the sustainability megatrend (2) the practical experiences faced by a Chief Sustainability Officer (3) examples of using real-time data to address sustainability issues and (4) an expert panel offering perspective on the problems, risks and opportunities faced when applying sustainable thinking and practices to their diverse situations and industries. 

The theme is intended to dovetail with OSIsoft’s core competency to provide our customers with the ability to harness and analyze real-time operational data from across the enterprise meeting the requirements of data management in the era of big data.
