Summary
The International Society of Sustainability Professionals invites you to join them for a virtual webinar on California's Cap & Trade system. California has officially launched the largest and most ambitious Cap and Trade System in the United States. This regulated market will have a major impact on California's economy and potentially provides a model for other Western States and the rest of the nation to follow. In the webinar presenters Kristin York and Ed Quevedo will provide a brief overview of the mechanics of the system and how it is being received in California. It will take a look at the impacts (good, bad and costly) on all sectors of the economy from small businesses to major corporations. This webinar will be of special interest to any practitioners looking to learn more about the technical aspects of Cap and Trade and the opportunities that exist in emerging carbon markets and for reducing emissions.
