He's back...
Van Jones
It was Sept. 2007 when Van Jones, an emerging leader in work to create opportunities in sustainable industries for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, first graced the cover of Sustainable Industries magazine. It was Dec. 2008 when Jones first keynoted the Sustainable Industries Economic Forum. At that event, Jones leaked news that he was joining the Obama administration as its green jobs czar.
And it was Sept. 2010 at the Sustainable Industries Economic Forum in Seattle when keynote Paul Hawken addressed Jones' resignation from the Obama administration (captured here on video by an attendee).
On June 13-14, and with so much transpiring in the years since he last took the stage, Jones returns to keynote the Sustainable Industries Economic Forums in Portland and Seattle and. This time around, a newly emboldened Jones joins sustainable business leaders from dozens of innovative companies for an interactive presentation and conversation on The Access Economy, followed by high-impact networking.
Both the Portland and Seattle presentations include an on-stage audience Q&A with Jones, led by Nick Aster, founder of TriplePundit.
