Pivotal Leaders supports local talent
Pivotal Leaders, a new Portland-based business network focused on building human capital in cleantech industries, today released its first Pivotal Leaders list. The list of entrepreneurs will receive support and guidance from members of the network, which was started by Pivotal Investments. A new list of Pivotal Leaders is slated to be selected each year.
The network received more than 600 nominations since the community nomination process opened Feb. 23, 2010. Through a peer selection process, the 32 leaders emerged.
"The concept and process has been enthusiastically embraced by the Northwest business community as a way to identify the people and attract the resources to build the clean tech economy in the Northwest," wrote Jennifer Allen Newton of Bluehouse Consulting Group Inc. for Pivotal Leaders.
